Eleanor Wilkes

Eleanor studied at Manchester University before completing the Postgraduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, York in 2002.

Eleanor joined Smith Roddam Solicitors in July 2026 having had a break from legal practice. Eleanor qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 and for a number of years worked for two local firms handling a varied caseload of criminal, family, conveyancing and private client work. Eleanor then moved into public law and the civil service before returning to private practice very recently.

Eleanor now specialises in residential conveyancing including house purchases, sales, remortgages and transfers of equity.

Out of the office, Eleanor enjoys running, walking her dog, travelling and spending time with her family.
